- No preregistration. Participants only need to record their activities.
OVERVIEW
Challenge yourself to record 300 minutes of movement during the seven days of Homecoming Week - that's only 43 minutes each day.
The goal is super flexible - you choose any movement options that work best for your schedule and daily life to keep you motivated for 300 minutes and beyond.
Some days you might achieve the target in one continuous timeframe; other days, you may add up and combo numerous smaller bursts of activities.
What counts as a movement activity?
ANYTHING that ignites the muscles, engages the joints, and increases the heart rate.
A few examples:
- walking between classes, meetings, or as a midday break.
- cycling between city campus and east campus
- jogging / running
- strength training
- cardio exercises
- playing sports - inside or outside
- mind-body practices
- swimming
- cycling on the trails
- a longer walk with your dog in the morning or evening
- kayaking

PRIZES and INCENTIVES
Each student who completes the challenge will be entered into a drawing to win one of the following prizes:
- Group fitness water bottle + t-shirt + car decal (4 winners total)
- Spring 2025 Group Fitness Pass at the Campus Rec Centers (1 winner)
