OVERVIEW

Husker Games is a competitive, elimination-style competition featuring 9 preliminary challenges followed by a final elimination challenge. Participants will compete individually and in assigned teams through a series of physical, mental, strategic, and luck-based challenges. Organizations can select up to 10 individuals to compete. 

As participants progress through the competition, they will earn points based on their performance in each challenge. These points will contribute to their overall standing and determine the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in the Homecoming competition. The competition will progressively narrow the field until a small group of finalists remains, who will compete in the Final Challenge to be declared the Husker Games champion. 

The Husker Games champion will also earn an additional 50 points for their group or organization toward the overall Homecoming competition.

The event is intended to emphasize fun, collaboration, strategy, and friendly competition.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

Husker Games is open to: ALL (Registered Student Organizations (RSOs), Greek Organizations, Residence Halls, Student Groups, Individual University students). 

You must register prior to the event via the Homecoming Registration link.

Rules

1. ALL participants must be present prior to 10 min before the first game at 1pm 
2. Participants must follow instructions provided by the event coordinator, game coordinators, and volunteers. 
3. Participants must remain in designated competition areas unless instructed otherwise. 
4. Participants may not interfere with another contestant's equipment, gameplay, or ability to compete. 
5. Any intentional cheating, tampering, unsafe conduct, or failure to follow instructions may result in immediate elimination. 
6. Game coordinators have final authority over individual game rulings. 
7. Participants who are eliminated may not return to the competition unless a specific game rule permits them to do so. 
8. All final advancement and elimination decisions will be made by the game coordinator overseeing the challenge. 

POINT ALLOCATION

The game champion will receive an additional 50 points for their organization/group.
