OVERVIEW

Students can support the Husker Pantry and fellow students at Nebraska through a food drive competition.


WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

Competition Points are awarded in three divisions:

  • Fraternity and Sorority Groups
  • Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs)
    • Small Organization: 1-20 members
    • Medium Organization: 21-49 members
    • Large Organization: 50+ members
  • Residence Halls

RULES
  1. Food and other essential items should be dropped off at University Health Center, Room 123  (the office for Big Red Resilience and Well-being) on any of the following dates/times:  
  • 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, September 30 
  • 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, October 1 
  • 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, October 2  
  1. To receive competition points, the organization's name must be written on the bags or box that the items are delivered in. 
  2. For those who prefer an online donation, you can purchase items via the pantry’s Amazon Wishlist and have them delivered directly to the pantry. To receive competition points for Amazon orders, a screenshot of the order must be taken and a copy of the receipt uploaded by 4 p.m. Thursday, October 3 to this webform.
  3. Organizations can earn up to a maximum 300 points for their donations - view the Point Allocation section.

Organizations can earn up to a maximum 300 points for their donations.

  • Body wash 
  • Bar soap 
  • Hand soap 
  • Toilet paper (4 pack) 
  • Paper Towels 
  • Shampoo/Conditioner 
  • Cereal 
  • Rice 
  • Soup (no tomato or cream-based soups e.g., cream of mushroom) 
  • Pasta sauce 
  • Pancake mix 

 All other items.

Canned Vegetables.

Groups do not receive 
points for canned vegetables.
